Rsv1000r Factory - SOLD

Post by rocket »

Sold

For sale my 2005 Aprilia Rsv1000r factory

I have owned this bike for about 12 months and it is a joy to ride it handles like it is on rails and pulls from anywhere in the rev range.
The Bike comes with:
Ohilns forks (the forks had new oil and seals in april 2014),
Ohlins shock
Ohlins steering damper
Oz alloy wheels which have pirelli supercorsas sc1 front sc2 rear there is plenty of life in them
Carbon front mudguard and rear hugger and other carbon parts which are all standard
Brembo radial brakes which give loads of stopping power
Datatool alarm with certificate of fitting
New chain and sprocket with less than 500 miles on them, its running a 15 tooth front and 42 rear this transforms the acceleration on the bike
Extras:
Crash bungs
Adjustable levers
Key less fuel cap (i have the original as well)

The condition of the bike is very good for its age but it does have some small marks from wear and tear stone chips etc..

15,764 miles
Mot : 29/04/2015

Service history
2005
2007
3581 miles in 2008
4373 miles in 2008
6318 miles in 2009
9476 miles in 2010
11476 miles 2011
15400 miles 2015
It was last serviced in July 2014 at Aprilia Performance were it had a full check up a new chain and sprockets and a rewound generator. The bike has also just had a new battery.

The bike is also Hpi clear.

I will be sad to see it go however I fancy a change on to an in-line 4.

Price £4500

What next all depends on what happens over the next couple of weeks. If every thing works out and i can work some charm It maybe a bmw or zx10. If not a jap in-line 4 1000 no idea what just the best that comes up for the money.

Time for a change I think ;)

Tell her it's a a 50/50 relationship where your commited to equality and sharing of family responsibility.

As such its now her turn for a spell under the thumb and your running the show from now on (rock)

(f1) I've had mine for over 5 years now. It's not a factory, but it's been really reliable and has only let me down a couple of times. First was the stator which has now been replaced with a factory unit, since then it's been fine. The only other fault was a dead battery.

A quick tweak to the gearing and it's not too far of the pace of the modern thous on the road as the power is so usable.
