Q plates show that the vehicle has been built like a kit car, rebuilt or so heavily modified it's hard to work out what's left of the original. Q plate vehicles are normally a sign that the owner has built it.

Ah right! That'd be a top plate to have then!

Isn't it a pain to get insured and sell on when Q plated though.

Does that mean I've got to do some work on Friday now instead of looking at old rusty Japanese bike bits ;)

If your nearby, would still be pretty handy if you could check it out for me. They want 45 feckin quid to deliver it, so I'll come collect it next week

All seems good so far!

Guess I'll struggle to tell till I get it blasted though. Sounds solid though

Quick sand and all looks solid!

Got carried away after that. Think I'm going to change the route of the build though and fit some clip ons with rear sets!

I like the look of what coming here....
Did I miss something, did you manage to get a weld/repair on the old frame, or is that dead now and the new one is in play.

Old frames ready for the tip! Got a replacement luckily.

Odds of getting a replacement were very very low, but luckily people who have them struggle to sell!

No real updates at the moment.

Apart from the old frame being prepared for the tip!

Long term project at the moment. Reckon I'm going to be a couple of years on this. Don't really wanna drop much money on it, so its just an as and when jobbie

Kinda always bugged me how far the bars sat back from the yoke, so I'm messing around with something else.

Picked up a pair of VF750 Interceptor bars. Can see how the two sit side by side.

Was going to go all out cafe racer style, but as I'm not using rear sets, that's just going to be too uncomfortable! Reckon these will do the job perfectly! Just need a respray.
