Because I'm forever messing about with my bikes and cocking things up :D

Plus I'm not too happy with the set up on the SX so I might swap that around with the new hose and clips.

Ahh makes sense.

Do you have an aftermarket M/C on the ZX6R? If so, have you considered putting the ZX M/C onto the SX? Might already be the same system - I wouldn't know.

The zx6r still has the stock master cylinder on it, as does the SX.

Both bikes have had braided lines put on and both use the MRR Bendix pads. I did change the fluid reservoir on the SX but I'm not too keen on the rubber hose I've used and the lay out. The problem is with the screen - when it's on the lowest setting there's not a lot of clearance for the fluid reservoir.

I'm making some "ladybird" brackets for myself (306 steel 0.5mm thick laser cut) so can get an extra one made up if you like? Getting 95mm and 115mm brackets made. You just have to bend them to suit

That's alright bud. Either I'll bring them whenever we all meet up for a ride or can get them posted. I'm hoping they aren't too stiff - I was planning on using 0.3mm but we don't use anything besides martensitic steel (very brittle) which doesn't lend itself to being bent.

Just putting this out there - I HATE WAITING FOR PARTS TO ARRIVE!!!

Everything is fitted and it all works great - initial concerns of how springy the bracket was is not an issue when the hose it on; there's a small amount of wobble but nothing concerning.

I'm going to get more brake fluid and have another go at bleeding as I'm not convinced everything is spot on, that said, the lever is near impossible to pull to the handlebar in 19x20 and that was what I initially rode with.

19x20: Instant bite, still a significant amount of feel. I only rode up and down the street with it on that setting so operating temperatures were very low and not a fair review

19x18: Incredible modulation although still way sharper than the stock master. Still 2 fingers braking but the back wheel doesn't like to stay on the ground... looks like I need to learn to brake better! haha

I've now got everything I need for my pre-season oil, filter and plug change and I went to get my tyres fitted....

...both rears I had were split and unusable! Got a refund on the one (scrub from a guy I know) and purchased a brand new Racetec RR K2 to match the K1 front. £154 shipped - happy with that.

Not long now until I hit the track with the new brakes and shock and it'll be nice to experience a new set of tyres too!

Yeah I have two (although one has stopped working) so I will be recording plenty :)

I'm hoping to get a camera angle where I can see my throttle and brake controls with a forward view but it's not obvious

Here'so my latest purchase.. the -1 front sprocket!

Will be fitting that this weekend as I wait for the oil to drain out!

Be careful tabbing the nut up on that new one Cav, I know someone from the 675.cc site whose front sprocket came adrift on at a trackday simply because the tabwasher wasn't done properly.

That's the problem with Triumph owners these days :D

I just know I have difficulty getting the bloody thing off! I'll be contorted over the bike with my foot on the rear brake and a mighty long torque wrench to try and get leverage.

I came across a deep 28mm socket in my tools a few weeks back and couldn't figure out why I'd bought it - now I remember, it's to do the sprocket!!!

Cav I found it easier to put a wooden pole through the rear wheel and Swingarm to stop it turning when removing and tightening the front sprocket.
