No oil light.

Mike ran through best and worst case scenarios and what may have failed. The noise and the location of the noise suggests cam chain or CCT. The noise didn't last for long and the lost of power wasn't a dramatic drop off. The bike was still revving.

Cam chain sprocket started to come loose perhaps.?

Doesn't sound to bad tbh, I'd say it's the cam chain indeed and if it lost a bit of power I'd say that's from the sloppy drive to the cam retarding the valve timing slightly. If it restarted then your cam is still driving the valves in the correct sequence which means you haven't had a piston to valve interference episode. Just don't start it again. If the chain jumps a tooth or comes off you'll be in a lot worse shape.

This is my best guess, I could be completely wrong, but hopefully not.

Oh crap Kwacky hope it's OK mate and your bike is back .on the road. You have spend a lot of cash on this and it's only just starting to brighten and warm up. Let us know the need when you find out but I hope it's a quick, easy and cheap fix
