Abba Skylift

Post by duke63 »

Put it together today and got the 853 up on it.

I'm seeing bits of my bike I have never seen before. :D

I can move the bike around the garage as I wish to make it easier to work on any part of the bike.

So far so good. it's weird to see the bike suspended in the air. :D

I was very tempered by one of these whilst at the NEC last month. I got chatting with the guy and he was demonstrating it etc. I had to walk away in the end jist because I've got a stag do to pay for and honeymoon and wedding and also was looking out for some new boots which weren't exactly cheap.

But looks like a cracking bit of kit and one day will buy one!

I have one and have used it on 4 different bikes including heavy ones like my BMW GSA and Ducati Multistrada 1260. It works very well and is great for getting access to the under parts of the bike. On a smooth floor, you can move the supported bike around easily. The floor does need to be smooth to do this however. If you have access to a lathe, it's pretty easy to turn up adapters to fit most bikes although my Multi needed a different style of adapter and I bought that - not too expensive fortunately.
