I would say just cut your loses mate you've had a lot of fun with the Kwack but something else will catch your eye and you will prob be happier with that because you won't have any faffing about or concerns with it. Its a real shame as you have worked hard on it but sometimes you got to look at what it is worth compared to what you will have to spend on it to get it to that point. It's worth something at the end of the day so I'd sell it to someone who can do the work himself and would use it for track or someyhing

It's a tough one, I've spent a shed load of cash on it as well as time and it was getting close to where I wanted it.

I've asked Mike to return the bike.

But I think Rossgo's sentiments are right. Time to close this chapter and think about moving on.

Once I've got the bike back I'll pen an advert with some photos. I reckon I should be able to get rid of it seeing as the rest of it is in good nick.

The gearbox swap should be easy. 6 bolts and you slide the gearbox out the side of the engine, put it into the new engine. The gearbox is a cassette type and should be a very simple and fast straight swap from your current engine to the new one.

When one door closes amother one opens (lol)

Just look forward to modifying and making the next one your own.

You cant beat modifying a bike imo. Buying a new bike is merely the start of the journey. A journey of modifying and wringing the bloody neck out of the thing whilst laughing your head off, half through fear, half through excitement (rock)

Just know whatever your decision good times lie ahead 8)
