Where to buy parts other than triumph

Post by chris »

Hiya

my bike is beginning to fall apart theres a few bits that are starting to need replacing but triumph prices seem very high for what the parts are

Typically the electrical gremlins are back, loosing power to lights and dashboard when idling (ive measured the stator and it seems to be producing plenty of power but its not getting to the battery ive looked at the wiring that seems fine so im assuming the reg rec is fluffed last one lasted 6 years

the rocker cover is leaking a little oil but £39 for a gasket is a bit steep

throttle body rubbers that attach to the head are perished £8 each isn't too bad but I can only find them from triumph

fairings are a little cracked in places ill refurb them while there off

I have a spare Reg/Rec which you can borrow to try but I'll want it back
Its one I replaced when my stator went ... there was no indication that the reg/rec had gone but swapped it anyway.

With regards to parts ... Try Sandy at Triumph-ant http://www.triumph-ant.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
