I wouldnt say its been on the optimate for the whole 8 months, probably on for a total of 4 months
This battery charger ive borrowed has a desulphate mode on it too so I'll see what happens

Optimate is showing the battery as fully charged but the bike wont start The rev needle doesnt even sweep but the fuel pump primes Thumb starter and just get the relays clicking Bridged the started solenoid and it turns over but is very laboured as if the battery is flat So is the trickle charger do...

Got the leathers and lid on
Rolled her out
Pressed the starter
Got **** all
Rolled her back in
Took off the leathers (still in a pile in the lounge)

Now watching the LED's to see if its a new battery or not

Rub both sides of the key on a wax candle
Once you've inserted the key in to the aforementioned sticky slot, it leaves it wax coated

Spudda's top tip....
Use an old plastic milk carton
Cut it so it fits behind the chain but leaves a reservoir to catch the crud and excess cleaner.
It protects your swing arm, wheel and tyre

I wear ear plugs when on the bike but guess it sounds OK by the way people turn to see what it is. Not sure what it sounds like off the bike as no one has ridden it with me listening I wouldn't want them ruining the perfectly preserved edges of my tyres and ruining my squared rear tyre anyway (makeup)
