Re: Strange ??

... When I owned my zx6r I got parking tickets through from Liverpool council saying I had parked my Vauxhall Astra illegally. I explined the REG they were pursing was for a zx6r and not a Astra. Some thick scouser had cloned an Astra with a bike plate. Fortunately it was easy to get sorted.

Strange ??

I got my 999 back from Louigi moto last night and while we were chatting the MOT question popped up as I was going to put it on a daytime MOT as I don't really use it much on the road. I cant remember when the MOT runs out or when it needs taxing again ...

If I were you, pick a gear to redline (2nd or 3rd would be my recommendation) then take note of the speed and compare against the gear calculator. I typically see 99mph in 2nd. What gearing have you gone to? -1/+3 with a 60 ...

Re: Cav's ZX6R

This year has seen my brakes get overhauled and upgraded, new gearing (-1/+3), shock service and revalve, and most recently the forks were serviced and revalved. The only stock part of my brake setup are the calipers which are brilliant. I have the Brembo RCS 19 Master Cylinder with HEL lines, ...

Re: Aprilia Rs250

Did you try the Irish chap I suggested he did me an absolute mega deal on my shock for the Blade ?

Paid 500 for a 3 way adjustable race shock and all the competition were north of a grand.

Custom made and half the price of Maxton, ktech or Ohlins but identical quality and performance.

Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review

Brake power is not bad tbh but it's no improvement over oem and feel wooden but in fairness so did oem and Rockets non abs is the same although I think he has Kwackys favourite Mrr pads installed.

When I fitted SBS rs pads to my Blade the difference and improvement were huge.

Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review

They were night and day on my bike, very impressed with them. No heat up time at all, very consistent and a nice initial bite. Suspect the one's I replaced were the original pads and were very shiny and full of big holes in the surface so difficult to do a fair comparison with the OEM ones.
