Great work Rossgo. Personally I would carry on and get additional training if its available and assume at no extra cost.

Re: Boring bank holiday
I have found the last few years the weather is always better (dry) in the evening for some weird reason as you have noticed too Jon. This has led me to plan rideouts in the evening, which although always quite short at a couple of hours that is offset by much reduced traffic.

Re: Project ZX6R
Sounds good and as you say you have the time and don't mind investing cash into a long term project. Going to be a great bike when you have finished and now you have a dedicated commuter bike the six won't get the same level of all year round abuse.

Sato are awesome but twice the price of vortex unfortunately.
For the track bike after reading your above post, I don't think your going to get better for the dosh than vortex imo kiwi

Re: What are you doing today ??
Having a right prick of a night. My dayshift back to back ran the Emergency Generator up for a test run (V16 cylinder 69 L turbo diesel) and it blew a coolant fitting, right on shift change. So I've spent all night mixing up gylcol to 1:10 into 20 L drums then hoisting them 10 m up to the radiator ...

Maybe have a word with Nutz as he has some one he swears by for giving the bike a deep clean and I don't think he is expensive.

I don't thing he will need a cobolt drill bit as there not 12.9 high tensile cap heads there just m5 alloy capheads by the sounds of above.

Re: Spinning screws
Sounds like the threaded female sleeve which the cap head screw, screws into is turning in the rubber housing for want of a better explanation.
If you cant pull them out without damage can you cut the capheads off and push the other part through until it falls out freely.

Have the heads sheared off ? Is yes then probably will have to drill out unfortunately, but tbh its not that difficult if you take your time and are careful.
