Re: What are you doing today ??
What impact does a local election ACTUALLY have? Does it have any effect on the next general election? I.e. let's say I vote green now and liberal in a general, does the one vote undo the other? If I want to vote green in the general do I need to vote green now?!

It's fair to say this week has been the hardest week of my life. If you guys wanna help, just keep sharing ...

Arriving next Wednesday! To say I'm excited is an understatement. Already ordered an Arrow can from Italy and so far managed to NOT buy any orange Billit products!

Re: Brexit thread
To be fair, the UK experienced slightly above average growth in GDP over the last year or two....India's GDP growth has been substantial to say the least....and with their vast population, it seems inevitable that they'd start catching up with the rest of the world sooner rather than later.

It's a t-shirt!!!
It has my Native American name emblazoned across the front in massive "I'm not wearing this!"-type letters.
A nice thought though...I know who sent this, I'll have to give her a call and say thanks.

... it. Since then about a 1/3 of the workforce have left (moved to other gas projects/companies) so they have already made money off that. Yet as you say, it regularly feels like they are trying to squeeze us out and reduce the redundancy liability. Except now we are below minimum manning and it's ...

Re: The electric car revolution
I think it’s fair to say off peak times would be better for the grid.
Tbh I’d get solar if I had an electric car and then charge whenever.
People won’t be happy with limitations on the times though.

The Roadsmart offer is hard to ignore but I will just say I fitted some Dunlop Mutants to the Multi over Xmas. Second time out today and have to say they are a brilliant tyre. Handle like a sports tyre but grip like a wet tyre even in winter.

Estate management companies. Once a year we get a statement of account and are told how much to pay. In September we got a letter to say that they had generated more money than spent, so some people should be in credit. This morning someone posted in the local facebook group that the management ...

My neck....when I twist my head from side to side, or up, down, etc. it sounds/feels like there's an empty crisp packet inside my upper vertebrae. It's been doing it for a little while now. It's not painful as such, but it's a bit disconcerting to say the least.
