"You said you were waiting for a returned form, when did you send it? Oh you havnt? Your sending it now, ok we will call back in an hour to see if you have....."

Re: Possible house move

Took six months last time we moved and the chain was only us and the people we were buying from. All we ever heard from the solicitor was excuses and then they deny all responsibility for anything they have actually done.

... them for being bored, laughing when the kid starts swearing, etc.. all of this stuff is minor, yes, but I bet these knobheads in moped gangs were brought up in a similar way. Good parents stand out but bad parents are the masses. So many parents completely ignore their kids too so of course ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Thanks. I had to resort to mounting weights on top of the machine as the mounting arms were full.. quite an ego trip going that heavy to be honest.

I'll be dropping down to probably 400kg from now on and going for 10 sets of 5

Re: Jerez Motogp

I've only seen clips of the 3-way crash and MM saving it from the gravel. What clips they both were!!! Firstly.. the 3-way. That looks bloody painful for Pedrosa! I believe it to be a pretty awful racing incident with a little bit of blame towards Lorenzo but a racing ...

Re: Tyre profiles.

The PR5 is very pointy for a sports touring tyre, i would love to know what they are like, the 3s were excellent for those cold days and very confidence inspiring.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Just in from a quick bimble up to Jem Speed shop in batley, then down to SMC in Sheffield then home through some nice back lanes.

The brakes were a little glazed from a winters worth of gentle riding so a few hard stops from some mph were done just below the abs cut in point... They are now awesome.

Re: London scooter thief jailed for 10 years

I don't think you can put a price on this sort of thing....whether from a philosophical point of view, or from a practical angle.
Yes, all these services cost $$$, but they were created to fill a need, not just for the sake of it.

Re: Star Wars - Chapter IX

Rebels fills in a lot of gaps and tees up A New Hope.

The artwork in the Rebels series was based on original screen artwork for the Star Wars film. Two of the characters in Rebels are based on how R2D2 and Chewbacca were going to look.

... the fight with Obi Wan and how he ends up fighting the early rebellion. You could get Darth Vader in that film very easily as Maul and Vader were around at the same time as Maul plotted to kill him and his master.
