If you're bored do some online research about Nordic countries and their alarmingly high infant death rates last century. There were a lot of conspiracy theories that they were "allowing" sickly infants to perish rather than treat them. Sickly is a very broad brush term.

Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

... I'm allowed to go. I'll be looking at tyres. It comes with knobblies but I might switch to the more road orientated Metzler Tourance tyres. They were on the KTM 1090 and I really liked them. They also do the Karoo which are more for the road than the Tourance.

I think they were "almost" deployed.
If memory serves, the fire brigade committee (or whatever it is called?) gave the fire-fighters some sort of "it'll cost you your jobs & pensions"-ultimatum and they backed down. Or it only lasted a fortnight. Sommit like that.

... contraptions for cutting our dogs nails :D Same here , we can't do it, the two big ones have only needed it once and that was done whilst they were sedated !!! The pigs are given huge doses of ketamine first .. Peter the younger male took 5 days to come round this time... very worrying

... be just a slow puncture .. after lunch I couldn't get it to go in straight line and battled for another hour until I threw in the towel . There were no replacements and only had the 2 smaller bikes in the fleet
