Re: Chinese Levers

I'd never buy ASV. For the price I was annoyed after the black turned to dark purple. My bikes live outside But I may aswell have bought 10 pairs of Chinese levers and change them when they fade. I've had Chinese levers before and n3vwr had issue.

Re: Africa Twin DCT

A vehicle that gets lots of use especially travelling from A to B either for work or similar then an auto box makes so much more sense and ism so much easier to use.

I await the day when road bikes have a seamless box. But I suspect we will see the death of the ICE before then.

... a result.? I've also been wondering if modern engines may prove to be similarly affected.; - Back in the 60-70's, if you got 80k out of an engine before you needed a "Goldseal" replacement then you were lucky. By the 90's 150k could be considered "nicely run in". Modern petrol ...

... all proper bikers. Helped me out a couple of times by squeezing me in the workshop when really busy. The main one was to fix the oil leak the day before the IOM trip last year. I can do it myself, but I've got much better things to do with my time.

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

So much depends on the dealer and the expectations of the staff. I try and find one I can trust now before I even consider if it’s a bike I want. Staffs Triumph were brilliant, as have been JHP and Cornerspeed for Ducati. I think the Ducati expectations relate back to the ...

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

I have had a bad experience with a Honda dealer on recall work before also. As far as I can see it's quote common, well is so in my experience. That said I did use the Ducati main dealer with no issues and although I prefer to home service I decided to ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Disappointed tbh. Was main dealer serviced 110 miles before I bought it and the job card says they checked the coolant. Maybe they did but it was below minimum so I would expect that meant top up. What's the theory behind the drop ? Leaks common place? ...
