I haven't ridden it. But I'd take my R1 over the equiv ZX all day. you dont need to ride one the gearboxes on the new ones are falling apart I've not seen that. I'm going to guess it's not the only bike to have an issue, however. Josh Brookes ...

I think today could be the day I take a look at my swingarm and finish my brakes, or at least get the pistons out of the calipers (I forgot to pump them out before removing the brake fluid !!!

Its run by JHP Ducati and they take their mechanics with them.

Its not something i can do this year but worth bearing in mind for the future.
