... barriers were too close to the track in too many places. I think it was after Darijiro Kato went into the barrier and tragically lost his live. Great circuit but very little run off and too much armco.

... nearest city to you? I'm about 80km north west from Sydney CBD in the hills/mountains. If you google Kurrajong Heights you'll see. There a lot of great tourist stuff in the Blue Mountains not too far from me but if you only made the city and I'm not offshore, I'd trek in for a beer or two!

Short ride. Met a mate in Shrewsbury, then to Welshpool, Newtown, and back via Kerry, Churchstoke and the Hope Valley into Shrewsbury. Great way to spnd two hours
