... Bikes today. He says there's absolutely no mechanical reason why a modern bike can't do average car mileage as long as it's serviced and looked after properly. You'd think nothing of buying a 3 year old car with 27k on, you'd actually think you got a steal.

I think you're right, And I will run with your suggested level of tyre at least till I get my mojo back ...

After a long think I've re fitted the standard exhaust,I didn't like the sound of the aftermarket box and I'm sure it was hurting the midrange .Im happier with the sound and now I can book mallory with kwacky
Anybody want a stainless. Rc8 back box :)

I was also going to suggest tilt switch - sounds like the issue I was having after I fitted the track fairing to the zx10. Once I located said switch and fixed it into position the correct way bit started fine.
