Re: Lucky escape
Blimming he'll that does look like a mess. Isn't this dangerous or careless driving though Kwacky? Paying no attention to the road? Surely there's some sort of act here for police matters instead of "oh whoops I forgot !!" Lol

Re: Lucky escape
... after the first walled twisty bit down to the lake as I approached a corner to be met by a belgian vw polo travelling at speed on my side of the road. Flashed but no reaction and I swerved over to the other side of the road missing him by inches. Looked behind in my mirrior to see a shower of ...

Re: Lucky escape
Wow, what a mess, that guy was real lucky. That's why so many Germans have been killed over the years at the TT, in a moment of excitement they have forgotten which side of the road they should be on !

Good but If he was on a road going zx10 he would have been front row not just on the grid.

from chaz davies "Yesterday was too much fun ripping around Imola on the #Ducati #Panigale R road bike. Such a capable bit of kit and a lot of fun to ride. In full road trim including tyres my lap times would have easily qualified for the @WorldSBK grid. Really cool ...

Apologies for being on my soap box, but they know what there doing, they know its illegal and socially un-acceptable, they know their risking ...

I think that's true of all road users, and unfortunately you only remember the crap ones which gives the rest of them (be it cyclists, bikers or whatever) a bad name.

I think there keeping it too 100 bhp as it has a heavy off road focus and 160 bhp in the mud would be too much.

Re: Dash cams
I get annoyed myself at times if I'm stuck behind a 40MPH hero, those dickheads that do 40 regardless of the speed limit on the road they are on, be it 30/50/60mph limit roads they always do 40. I fricking hate those guys. I think I went off topic a long time ago so. Isn't that the Tankslap ...

... inconvenience but I once got stuck behind a peloton on twisty, hilly country lanes which was a nightmare. I think it was an amateur race on open roads which took up a whole lane for about the length of a HGV or more with the odd one straying into the other lane now and again. If they had have ...

Overall I think we need more police on patrol because as others have stated, there are so many obvious issues on the road that In any journey they could issue a 10's and even hundreds of tickets for things like mobile phone usage behind the wheel. I'd also be in favour ...

I think that is the point when they ride 3 or 4 abreast, and then don't even bother to switch to single file for other road users to pass. I don't really understand why they do it. Either cycle, or go to a pub for a chat. Then I don't understand people who chat whislt running either,. ...

I think it's a great idea HGVs are (I would say) the most dangerous vwchicle on the road. The driver has to be extra vigilant on what's going on around them as cars/ bikes are go I g a lot quicker and they are the heaviest on the road so if a HGV hit into a smaller ...

Re: Trackdays
having done at a guess about the first 8-9 of my first trackdays on my road bikes the time came where I thought I had got to a sufficient level to get a track bike. That and the thought that if I binned it I would damage approx 4k's worth of bike and not 15k's ...
