... like Martin. It's difficult not to, isn't it? But these days, he's more of a celeb than a racer. In a way, one can't blame him for looking at other options for a career.

Saw this trailer in the cinema before Xmas. Thought it looked toss, tbh.

Batman, yeah, but Superman (and most of the other DC characters, barring the Flash and Green Arrow) dull as ****.

You need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch or record programmes as they're being shown on TV or live on an online TV service. This is the case whether you use a TV, computer, tablet, mobile phone, games console, digital box, DVD/VHS recorder or any other device.

My shock should be back Friday so I should be fitting that over the weekend.. In other news, my front brakes have been left to bleed over the last week so I should be able to take the calipers off and service them. I've got some BSB spec brake fluid to go in (Motul ...

I only have a FB account to make Pinterest easier to log into, other than that I'm with D6.

Beer at home means Davenports! :D

A family friend used to work at the brewery on Bath Row (next to the old Accident Hospital). He always seemed to be able to liberate a few bottles, which made him very popular with my mum and dad! (groupdrink)

I see Davenports are back and are opening a pub in Moseley under the Daresbeers brand. It's the old HSBC bank on the High Street.

Brummies of a certain age will remember Davenports.

Unpleasant statistics

1% of the world's population has the same wealth as the other 99% all added together? But even more disconcerting is the fact that the economy of the world is run for the benefit of that 1% only and no one else. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35339475" ...

Re: FAO Beermonster and Perkles (and other Brummies)

Interesting news. I too hope he keeps the character of the pub (which I think he will, as the Prince has kept its separate rooms) without pricing us B30 types out! I would imagine he will put the prices up slightly, but there's no way he'll be able to charge £4+ per pint and keep the locals. I think...
