The domain is up for renewal. So I've renewed for another 5 years.
I know we're not the biggest, or the busiest, or the best known site. I realise forums are seen as old news, but I think we're a good band of bikers.
Here's to the next 5 years.

Re: Mr Postman
Blade I totally agree mate. I really really really want one now! However insurance are ridiculous prices or not even insuring me at all. They say It must be garaged or 30 years old...luckily I am 30 in 5 month so will be looking around again then!!

You'd think it would drop quite a bit then level off as a "collectible"....bit like the RC51 has done over the years.

Yeah that's the way I'm looking at it. It shouldn't be too tough from about 4 years in as my pay will go up and my outgoings will effectively reduce (until kids)

Re: Brake Pads
Bendix MRR are my choice. Ignore the blurb about them, they're a fantastic road pad in all weathers. I've had them on all my bikes for the past few years and never had any complaints about them. They last as well. http://www.pdq1.com/brand.php?BrandID=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return ...

Re: Isle of Man - 8th to 10th September
I've had 4 days on the isle of man, over 2 years ago so I doubt that I will be going too fast.
It will be a good few days whatever the weather I think.

I like the last quote

What so a couple of years then

Re: BP Pay first policy for Bikers
Apparently the sign got taken down shortly after it went viral anyway. A US Facebook motorbike page I'm on (no idea why, must've clicked something years ago) has shared it and the overwhelming majority of responses are along the lines of... "What's the big deal? It's like this everywhere." ...

Re: Air Ambulance charity event
Coincidentally we have supported the East Anglian Air Ambulance for a long time, it's a great organisation with some very dedicated people in it doing a fantastic job with minimal funding.
On a personal level I've looked at Blood donation and the Air Ambulance as part of my biking fees for years.

... to know about the Beemer or is it what makes the Beemer different to other manufacturers? I would love a job in the Kawasaki styling depart 8) A years solid graft and creative design and you turn out 99.9% almost the same bike as last year. So similar you could enter it in one of those quiz's to spot the 2 insignificant differences. And ...

Re: What are you doing today ??
Took my kids on a speedboat which I went on the exact same one 40 years ago when I was on holiday as a little boy.
Great trip down memory lane and had just as many laughs and screams today as I did 40 years ago.
Hope my kids remember and Cherish the memory as long as I have.
