Re: Cav's ZX6R

100% Silica... doesn't cope with the heat too well then! aha.

Sounds like a good tyre then to be fair, hmmm. I doubt I'll get them until next year as my only planned trackday is Catalunya where it should be dry. I'll make do with a random assortment of tyres for the road until then

Re: Cav's ZX6R

This year has seen my brakes get overhauled and upgraded, new gearing (-1/+3), shock service and revalve, and most recently the forks were serviced and revalved. The only stock part of my brake setup are the calipers which are ...

What did you do to your bike today ??

Not going all out on cartridge kits etc, bit too pricey for me, especially a bike that I don't want to ride all year round in the rain etc [emoji15] K-Tech SSK piston kit and flow control valves. Looking at £500ish all in without changing the springs I reckon. I'll get a more accurate ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

With moving house, the baby and a few other costs, I can't see it being replaced anytime soon. I still owe 2 more years on finance. Luckily I still love the bike and find it does everything I need. The engine covers and casing itself is a bit ropey in places so I might keep my eyes ...

Yes, yet wouldn't the VIN show it as a 2011 year model non the less as that's the year of manufacture?

... price as there were other 2010's out there for £1-1.5k less. i know they can sell it for whatever they want, yet not advertise it as a different year model. I'm happy (well not really yet know their T&Cs so i can't contest it) to write off the £560 fork costs, yet i want the full difference ...

We normally go every year. It's a good break and a nice place to ride your bike legally at silly speeds.

We've just booked Tokyo, so that's us skint. Plus we're doing the family Florida thing next year so that's 2017 taken out as well. But never say never. I've decided that I'm better off worrying about the money I've spent and having a good time than I am worrying that ...

I think that is a decent assumption, Blade.

It seemed a strange decision to run Panigales this year as the bike will always struggle to be competitive under BSB rules. Only rider of Shakey's ability has made it work.

I wonder if Birdie switched to Ducati this year to be in the prime seat for running a new v4 superbike next season.
