why do you get a TV licence ? There is no way of detecting if you have a TV or what you use it for , I have not had a TV licence - ever .

I pay more for my bike than my car, the car has to be causing more damage on the road in all ways, the whole thing is a bloody con, just like the bill for my tv licence.... Bloody rip off.

There's no such thing as road tax.
That said, I don't mind paying VED for my bike. It's a tiny cost of running a bike.
Does that petition take into account the 2017 rules on vehicle excise duty?

There's an Aston Martin garage down the road - I'd likely try it there too A friend of mine did exactly that. :) He was a piot for one of the big Formula 1 team owners and so made more money ...

... Doing a 5 mile run after work tomorrow with the club and going to see if I can find some motivation. I've just booked myself in for a 10 mile road race on the 14th of Feb to see if having something to focus on will give me a kick up the arse that I need....

It depends on the Insurer, but the vast majority of them are fine with a Cat D going back on the road. Some may ask to see an MOT but that's about it.

Driving is very bad now. There's a road near work, marked out with two lanes. The roundabout has two lanes and the road you enter has two painted lanes. If someone stood there for a day and observed I would be very surprised if more than 20% ...

Driving standards in the UK are some of the worst in western Europe now from what i have experienced in the last couple of years...and there are just too many vehicles on the roads.
