Re: What are you doing today ??

Wondering how some of the solicitors I have to deal with get themselves dressed, let alone pass the exams needed to qualify.

Re: Donington - Monday 25th April

I've cancelled this as I'm not sure when the 6r will be ready. I've asked No Limits for a credit note as I want to do a track day as soon as I can.

Yeah, he's looked after me. He called my wife to let her know what was happening and arranged where to meet.

The Cornish shopping list

I thought I would help our dear friend out with a convenient list of the items he needs to get for his new bike. It's a tankslap custom to treat your bike to a nice new fuel cap, this is the choice of many:- http://www.bikersdiscountstore.co.uk/quick-action-race-fuel-caps/twm/alloy-race-fuel-caps-pd...

Re: poorly kwak

I didn't. I was on my way to Mike, the mechanic I use, to have the rear shock link replaced. I got about 4 miles away from his work so I called him and he came and collected me.

My wife went to his house, Mike dropped me off there.

Re: Pegasus Bridge the movie

My interest in World War 2 stemmed very much from three movies I saw when I was a child ‘The Longest Day, Kelly’s Heroes and Where Eagles Dare’

He'll do for me.

Re: Circuit of Wales preparing new model after Welsh Governm

I'm with you and sadly I was like that from day 1. It's very ambitious; it's expensive, in a strange location and there are plenty of other tracks to use. Look at how Rockingham is struggling

Weekend plans

So what's everyone up to?

I might try and get back to the gym tonight. Then a few beers with Beermonster and possibly Perkles.

Day around the house tomorrow.. My daughter is back from skiing so might go out for a meal

Hooning around Derbyshire on Sunday

Re: Casey Stoner considered stepping in at Pramac Ducati Mot

There's no doubt he would sell a few tickets if he came back.

As mentioned above, he looks a lot happier now. He's got money in the bank, he's got a stress free job he loves and the spotlight is off him. Why give that up?

Re: Project ZX6R

No oil light.

Mike ran through best and worst case scenarios and what may have failed. The noise and the location of the noise suggests cam chain or CCT. The noise didn't last for long and the lost of power wasn't a dramatic drop off. The bike was still revving.
