The mechanic showed me the photo of the bike after the crash. The rider must have been doing at least 100 when the accident happened.

Re: Suspension - reading between the bu!!sh!t

Exactly what I'm hoping for !!

Im' also hoping that a click does something! haha.. rebound is shot, literally no adjustment after a session on track. I'm assuming it overheats either through lack of nitrogen in the reservoir or old sludgy oil

Re: What you watching?

It's a good series. I thought the ideas would dry up after season 2 but they've done well to keep it fresh. Agreed, I thought once old ginger boy died it'd be all over. She's a fruitcake thou' could you imagine living with her (fubar). Actually it's ...

Re: Aprilia, Race ECUs and warranty

... I'm not suprised what's happening. Not sure of the laws over there but in the uk the sales of goods act can be used for warranty type claims, way after a manufacturers warranty has ended too. It just means even less people will buy an aprilia so they will lose out long term. Sad the owner loses ...

Cheap Daytona 600 fairings

... I wish these had have been about 3 yrs ago (facepalm) would have saved me a lot of work and money, I paid more than this just for the tail piece after the US company stitched me up and sent it as commercial goods and cost me AU$400 in duty and import tax. But thought this might be useful for ...

Re: Air Filters

I think BSD do a before and after run for comparisons.

You're looking at around 8bhp increase but it's more about the power delivery.

What was the bhp gain before/after?

Numbers are pretty meaningless unless tested back to back
And totally irrelevant unless tested on the same machine, altitude, temperature, time of day, etc, etc, etc

Re: Air Filters

I had a K&N on mine when I bought it. It did over 20,000 miles when I changed it and I would clean it at every service (maximum 4,000 miles but after every trackday and 1,000 miles otherwise). It wouldn't clean after a while so I replaced it with a BMC and it felt much better through the midrange ...

Re: 2016 ZX10R

Hickman is a bit of a beast isn't he.. and a really friendly character.

The good thing with the new ZX10R which will help the racers is that it is more of a 'tick' than a 'tock' bike. Unlike the R1 where it took an age for people to get used to it, the ZX10R should be ready to go after a few tests
