Re: Time for new gloves

... Alpinestar SP-2's that I use when it's not roasting hot have fallen apart (think I got close to 8 yrs, was wearing them when i crashed the ZX10R) After having the Five RFX summer gloves for a while now, I've decided to give some mid season Fives a go. So just bought these https://motoheaven.com.au/collections/waterproof-gloves/products/five-tfx-2-waterproof-motorcycle-gloves-black-grey?variant=32611834593354 ...

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike

After 10 hours the battery tested at 33% so I think setting that as the limit should be okay, the fridge has a battery protection feature so won't flatten the battery so far that it causes damage. This is mostly for lunch ...

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike

First fridge test after leaving it on it's battery for 10 hours and the smaller gauge wire which I found was not good, with the bike running it was getting hot so I pulled the fuse and stuck the multimeter in there to measure the Amps, ...

Re: Brexit thread

No, not just BREXIT, we've had an ageing population and a skills shortage for many years. Sadly the government (including the previous Labour government to some degree) has managed to convince a majority of voters that Mohamed the brain surgeon is after their job!

Today I washed all the dead bugs off it after yesterday's 310 mile and 13 hour ride to the lakes and North Yorkshire, it's splat time of year. We found a nice place for lunch in the middle of no signal nowhere. Screenshot_2023-05-21-13-49-09-17_3d9111e2d3171bf4882369f490c087b4.jpg ...

Re: Intercoms

I’ve got the F3 interphone, it’s only for rider/pillon comms and ph/sat nav connection. It works really well below 60 mph, after that it struggles due to increase helmet wind noise.

Well, I did manage to get out after all and I got about 20 miles in...but I'm definitely feeling it last night & this morning. My legs feel like spaghetti.
Today I'm going to be washing/detailing a Harley Davidson, and then doing a shedload of laundry.
