Re: Test rides

Really interesting that Godzilla. You wouldn't buy a GS now you've tried one?

Re: What are you doing today ??

Do I take it the car is run in now then ?? Today we're feeling happy at eldest Nutz has been accepted into his preferred school :) The scary thought is it's only a few months until he goes to school, doesn't seem like 5 minutes since I was sat on the sofa bottle feeding him.. More or less :). Did m...

Re: Insurance Loan Cars

It reminds me of when I needed bodywork done on my almost new Lexus several years ago, I dropped it into the body shop, and was given my courtesy car....

A poo brown old ford ka :(. Had loads of fun in it though... It wouldn't do more than 94 mph, but it held its own :D

Re: Helmets and Track Days

There used to be stickers on eBay for sale. (f1). The likes of j&s tend to sell helmets that don't have them, even normal shoeis like mine. eBay has them. Silly rule, but I take my old helmet to trackdays just in case they tell me off, but last two trackdays I did with my shoei without a sticke...

Re: Marquez wins as Yamahas hit trouble

Apparently he's quite a good rider ;). Won a couple of races in his time too (giggle)

Caught up with the race last night after being away for a while, sadly I think the F1 and motogp title are pretty much decided bar disaster already.....

Re: Removing Akrapovic Exhaust and H&M Quick-shifter - RC8

Coils not the the PC version buddy Coil version - I'd have a look at the Hm website and then take 20% off a new price buddy. Very popular items and one of the only makes I would buy. I had one and it was only the PC version. That was good, but the coils version is way better and more configurable.

Re: Removing Akrapovic Exhaust and H&M Quick-shifter - RC8

What do you reckon on the exhaust s/h price CookieMonster? In good condition - quite a lot sadly. I'd have it off you for £200 but then I'd be ripping you off :D If the packing in it is good (some of them blow) due to the mighty twin power :) and it isn't scratched to buggery on the bottom I'd be a...

Re: V6 Laverda

I guess a small V6 might work? I'd love to see a manufacturer doing something unusual again, but is guess it wouldn't make any money :(

Re: The winner takes it all.....

They'd have to form an orderly queue in order of my preference and wearing outfits of my choosing. not wasting their energy posting pictures. It's a serious business this. I might let some of them out when I'd finished with them ;)

Cornish wrote:Just seeking opinions, what do you reckon I'd get for the exhaust and then the quickshifter?

I'm not going to bother to do the quickshifter if I'd only get £150 as I love it too much!

Does it fit to the coils or to a power commander?

Re: Whats so hard about getting it right (pt2)

Living in the very middle of nowhere, I have no access to internets via any sort of cable. I'm on satellite internet and I have to say I've been pleasantly suprised - 20mbps down and 3.5mbps up all the time. Works all the time and if there is a problem it's usually because a bird has crapped on the ...

Re: Apple iPhone 4 for sale 16gb - White

I bought my 10 year old daughter a phone for Christmas. There are arguments for and against. I have an itemised bill so I can check to see what time she uses it. If she goes over her monthly allowance she has to pay me, no exceptions. Exactly what we did tbh. It does work but we also insisted they ...
