No Limits trackday fatality at Mallory on Friday

There isn't really a safe place to ride bikes. Get it wrong and shit can hit the fan very easily. RIP. No Limits bulletin: It's with a heavy heart we are tasked to announce that unfortunately there was a incident last Friday 29th September at Mallory Park which resulted in a very unusual situation w...

Re: Ducati 748 - Road to track/road

I've no idea on the lifespan but it comes with a 3 year warranty which sounds like they have faith in their product.

A Curious brew. A lager beer made with champagne yeast and you can certainly taste it.

Those panels are from the bike featured in PB magazine earlier in the year.

Re: DaytonAndy's 1299s Panigale

Emissions laws and noise tests make it no longer possible to sell a bike making the best sound.

I still think my 853 makes the best sound of any Ducati. the racebikes of Bayliss, Hodgson etc from that era were epic.

Re: DaytonAndy's 1299s Panigale

Two SL1299s going out the door at JHP today.

One wanted his gearshift reversed to race shift which meant the mechanic did a quick road test. (devil)

Beautiful piece of engineering and an epic sound. Not race bike loud though. Just a nice gruff growl.

This however is still far and away my fave Panigale colour. Looks kind of evil but classy.

Re: went on a test ride today !!

Nice bike, mister. I enjoyed the short ride i had on Stonesie's MT10 a few weeks back but i did wonder whether it still had more R1 than MT10 in it. I suspect Yamaha haven't changed much other than the bars and bodywork. Its a lovely engine. An IL4 with a touch of character and torque. So when are y...

Re: Ducati 748 - Road to track/road

So weight loss: One new lithium battery. The current battery is over 5 years old (i think it might even be 7, it was replaced after that IOM trip). Old battery weighs: in kilos 6.2kg 2017-09-30 17.08.05.jpg New battery weighs: in grams 995grams 2017-09-30 17.07.21.jpg I couldn't even weight them on ...

Re: DaytonAndy's 1299s Panigale

Take it on track, Andy. A nice wide track with long straights should be pretty safe.

The bike was designed as a race bike first and foremost and it's where it will be happiest.

The Ducati Panigale trackday last year rates as one of my best ever days on a bike.

LOVE this band, to me I hear bits of Bowie, Floyd, Sabbath all rolled into 1 weird mix, dunno how this band isn't MASSIVE Cracking track, not heard them before. I can definitely hear the Floyd but also massive amounts of the Beatles. [video...

Lithium battery charger

I'm going to gte a lithium battery for the 748 which means i need a new charger. Can anyone see a big difference between these two Optimates ( other than the price and a few pretty lights) https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/248878" onclick="window.open(this.href...

Aldi have some of the Crane base layers in stock again. These are the best quality base layers i have ever bought, regardless of price. Buy while you can.
