Re: Cars in the future
Cookie totally agree on every point except the last (y) If a persons disposable income is credit based then they don't actually have disposable income. Your exactly right, but i don't believe thats how the people with too much credit see it that way. Those who are careful in what they spend (i.e. y...

Re: Mr Postman
A new pair of wellies and a french tax return. Living the dream (facepalm) :D Is French Tax worse than English tax ???? It's in French as Kwacky says and also way different in terms of how its calculated. The french make assumptions on some incomes and tax you on those (giggle). It depends how you ...

Re: Cars in the future
Much depends on the type of vehicle i suspect. Any sporty diesel should not see its value fall to much but i suspect your average diesel saloon car will. My cars have been purchased on PCP for some years now. This is the first time that the residual value of the car doesn't come close to the value ...

Re: Cars in the future
Is it a blanket on all diesel cars? I thought it was on the older diesels? (I'm assuming cars with no DPF?) A lot of diesels with DPF's are affected. Its only Euro6 compliant diesels that are ok. Thats only the last couple(ish) of years. Mine has a DPF and is now 9 years old - DPF has been around f...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Not so much vent as crawl under a rock and die. Was sat in John Lewis yesterday looking at curtains with a very helpful lady. I was looking at something for my lads room but noticed they had a 20% sale on over easter. I commented we had had a quote for some made to measure curtains previously and c...

OMG
You couldn't do that if you tried - how high was that car?
3 yr ban and a few months in the clink? Outrageous.
Imagine if she would have killed anyone else - the carnage would have been epic..

At least china is working with South Korea and the US to try and stop North Korea. They must be worried if they have warned North Korea as they prop the country up don't they?

Re: United Airlines
We flew United twice last year between cities in the states while on holiday. They were awful. Ryanair is good compared to United.
Are you sure they weren't dragging him on to the flight?
I hope they compensate him well and suffer for that one - appalling .

Re: Porsches
I tested the 987 and the 981 and the 981 was definitely better - especially inside. The 981 felt slightly better but not much in it.

Re: Porsches
918 is probably one of my dream cars tbh. Too expensive mind! The only thing i'd say about the 987 is get a decent S model if you can - they have a lot more shove. The tiptronic is rubbish compared to the PDK/DSG, or indeed get a manual. I test drove a few different Boxsters before buying the F-Type...

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
If your in the market for an RC8, i'm in the market to sell at some point.... I like the RC8 and I know how well yours has been looked after. One of the main reasons for change is the riding position. Anything more than an hour in the saddle is causing pains in my forearms, and a trapped nerve in m...

Picked the SX up Pulled away from the dealer behind a car. I'm still in the car park. He stops. I'm about 4 metres behind. Reverse light comes on. I sound the horn and put the lights on and yet he carries on and reverses into me. Twat. Then he goes to drive off. Double twat. Someone who saw it step...

I didn't like supercorsa's - great in the dry with heat in, but when cold... slippy. I bought the RC8 and it had Supercorsa's on it. I then went to the IOM a couple of weeks afterwards with some chaps on here for a few days and it was damp. (gah) All I heard was "I'm a pussy". (devil) :P ...
