Re: My guardian Angel

I've done about a 1000 miles this week in my car.

I now reckon I'm safer on a bike. At least I can get out of the way of the ****.

Yesterday the bloke behind me in his BMW was using the car's distance braking to stop him from hitting me. I kid you not.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I have tried a few chain splinters and everyone I have tried is a pain to use and generally fails. The best way I have found is use an angle girnder it sounds crude but it's not just take the head off. Just cover the bike with a sheet. I bought the afam riviter with the chain ...

My guardian Angel

I have had the week from hell on the roads this week, Tuesday I got bashed up the back side by a dirty great big wagon on the motorway (M40) lucky it was fairly slow, but all the same I went into a little shock in the afternoon of what could have been. When I mentioned it earlier in the ...

Its isn't just this country Perkles, its the whole world.

its the culture of compensation that has forced this way of thinking.

You need to have done a risk assessment for so many things nowadays.

I could live with a snow day at home, *thinks log fire, soup, and the really thick duvet that's not been out this year*.... Me to, and it looks like I'm might get one. Sarah is in London, I'm at home with my Sister in-law, Brother in-law, five kids and my Brother in-law has just been picked up in a...

Re: Crash protection

Despite StM's build up, I've got very similar views to him on crash protection for 675's Andy. I've found out the expensive way that GB engine covers, spindle bobbins and crash bungs are a must and should be considered disposable in any off at all, also the small tank protectors can ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

I used to use a package called ParaCAD (Parametric) until been forced over to AutoSH!TE. It was way ahead of it's time, most people just used CAD as an electronic drawing board then. This is about 20 years ago, and way before 3D. We developed a whole modular range of generators ...
