Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I've blown both fork seals following that MCN journo around Rutland a few weeks ago. Tell me why without telling me why I shouldn't get a new bike with a 4-year warranty?

Re: Stonesie's GS Mods, Farkles and Tinkering
It's the outgoing 1250, I am tempted by the 1300 and it is much lighter but I think I will give it a couple of years to work the kinks out before I get one... Also after configuring one the way I would like it the price came out over £3K more than I'm paying for this 1250 Adventure ...

Fitted some new rear indicators. The 13 year old originals were falling apart and looked like something out of the 90s. Swapped them for the standard OEM ones from a later bike.

... and IF I extend your working out, a brand new GSA comes with a free set of the aluminium panniers and inner bags... I will need panniers for next years trip to Spain and an aftermarket set runs up to £1K with inner bags so that's almost accounted for the insurance difference between a used one ...

Feckin hell... how long did it take for the dizziness to wear of [emoji1787] According to Strava algorithms I am not the fittest I've been over a 2 year window. Well I won't be ordering one straight away, the first year of production always has problems to iron out. But I did get a quote for the 1250gs adventure, huge as it looks it's not much heavier. It should ...

Fairer deals for farmers
... The above is worth a read. If you want to know why we have to import so much of our food (46% last year, most European countries are less than 10%), then this is why - Supermarkets call ALL the shots.
