Had a couple of great meals this week, I tried Sauerbraten for the first time - simply fantastic, and had my favourite German meal of Bavarian sauerkraut, bratwurst and rye bread accompanied by a large Schwarzbier, very very good too. Tonight it's paella and glass (or 3) of something Iberian.

It's the weekend, which can only mean a full English breakfast.

Have been considering a big bowl of shreddies for the past hour. Think I'm.going to get it now!!

Way more chilli con carne than was good for me plus a couple of pleasantly unhealthy G&T's.

Tuna, boiled potatoes and veg

oak cured ham on thick bread with a nice handmade pork pie.

Washed down with some Liu Pan Shi Red oolong tea.

Banana, satsumer and then wheetabix [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

Porridge. Because it's cold. I needed some central heating.

A Chinese! I had chicken and sweetcorn soup, rice, beef, veg, a little bit of chicken chowmein, and chicken balls. There was a lot of food and I'm feeling it now!!

The only good think about the cold and wet in winter is good old roast dinners and plenty of them.
