Can't help thinking the BMW GS fits everything you need from a bike.

They are damn good bikes as seen by the number BMW sell. Must be worth a test ride.

Avoid the Micro tank bag Mtech do. It's too small. The Daypack is a good compromise.

I've got the SW Motech bag. Perfect for me and works very well. They have a waterprrof cover to fit iwhen its wet but to date i have never had to use it on the Multis i have owned.

Pinlocks have a limited lifespan apparently.

It was only recently i found out thy have water absorbing properties and come in 3 different levels. I guess that will only work for so long.
