If you crash in pitlane I think really you should not be riding a bike.
And to have two bikes at a trackday and neither of which works properly but one of which should have been checked and corrected the night before with just a spanner, should also say the same.

... and the thing we both loved about trackdays is the camaraderie and the help in a garage, regardless of what you ride it's still the same. Have to say I do miss that aspect of it.
