... a used bike seems to make the insurance happy too as the quotes online are not all 4 digits. I've been considering a couple of adventure style bikes like V-Strom 1000/1050 and the Aprilia Caponord, I have some thinking to do whilst the insurance sort's itself out.

... I might not have kept my right leg attached. I used to ride with a guy who had a similar accident but on his left, we call him 'Peg Leg' and his bikes have an electronic gear shifter fitted. (shocked)

... so went to the nearest one up the road. From there I took the most direct route home but managed to end up in the middle of a bike run of about 20 bikes because some had to stop for me at a roundabout :D. It was quite fun while it lasted!

... in I don't regret it at all. I did have a S1000xr as a loan bike for a couple of days but it just reinforced that I don't get on with inline 4 bikes... ... miss is the MT-10 even though it was a thirsty beast it had the low down grunt and the high end power when you wanted it. If I get room for 2 bikes in my life I will probably get another MK1 MT-10 and mod it. Today I'm just looking at the rain and wondering when my management will make a decision ...

Its storage of hydrogen that is the problem. To get sufficient into a fuel tank it needs to be a minimum of 5000psi and kept cold.
It will take massive steps forward in technology for it to be viable for bikes i would have thought.
