That's why when some people buy a lid cheaply online in the same size they had previously used from a specific manufacturer it doesn't fit as well sometimes. Some manufacturers have upto 4 different shell sizes for the same helmet dependent on head size / fitment. Perhaps HJC and Nolan differ at what size they go up a shell size if that makes sense. It is a noticeable difference though. Very true.....I think ...

Ha ha no worries DaytonAndy, and I sorted those before the crash. Got metal plugs and a swag of spare o-rings so all sweet in that regard.

... a pleasure to use. On my pilot powers the front needed to get replaced it kept slipping in the cold weather and wet weather but was fed up of the same tyre as had the powers for a year and half. So glad it did!!
