... the XR and it's done me proud for commuting, but it doesn't have the backroad blastability that the 990 Superduke had and I do miss the naked bikes. So.... 1st out. Triumph Speed Triple RS... What a machine.. After adjusting to the riding position, which didn't take long, it's surprisingly ...

They're nice looking bikes but they're getting on a bit now.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I didn’t even take the covers off the bikes this break home. Literally had two fine days in 6 weeks and you wouldn’t even consider a bike ride on the roads atm as due to all the extensive flooding the roads are shocking, massive potholes everywhere. ...

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike
Yeah too true, fortunately other customers were nice and just wanted to talk bikes and compare farkles, my seat got a lot of attention, even from Loads-a-money and his friend. And between showers I got the bike cleaned and the radiator guard fitted. https://i.imgur.com/hzobdqK.jpg ...

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike
... about money in amounts that I've never had like it's nothing. I moved outside when they started laughing about people who have to finance nice bikes. I'm still wincing at refilling my car yesterday, £95.55 (facepalm) Might bug my friendly salesman for a ride on the GS Adventure just to get ...

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR/Stonesies next new bike
... for it's 1 year service at a disappointing 2600 miles (facepalm) I need to get more riding in this year. My biggest decision is which of the demo bikes I will take out for a few hours, I'm thinking a boxer, R1250R or the GS (bandit)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
... on this bike... It's true what they say, It's more fun to ride a slow bike quickly than a quick bike slowly. I did spoil myself with 3 160+ bhp bikes (Multistrada 1200, MT-10, Superduke GT) on the trot so now I think this 105 bhp machine is "Slow", It's really not.

Re: Last night I dreamt
I have short snippets from a couple of dreams last night.
One dream had a massive snake in it, like 20m long.
In the other my wife had both of her cars stolen. First thing I did was to check on the bikes.

... and start again clean. Just be sure your 100% committed. The loan you take out in 2 months time to buy another bike because all you can hear it's bikes ragging about everywhere can get more expensive. Not that I've done it or anything.. XJR1300 after writing the D6 off, used the insurance to pay ...

Checked the bikes over. I applied some sunlight protector on the black plastics of the SX.
Took the MV out for a quick loop around Droitwich.

Re: It's that time again
Managed to get it down to £480. Cornmarket told me that the SX is the problem. Switching bikes causes a rise in the premium, you're at a high risk in the first twelve months of ownership. Plus the ninja name increases the insurance. There's a £10 difference between ...

It's that time again
I've just had my renewal - £532.59
It's not too bad considering I've got 2 pretty new sport(ish) bikes. I was hoping for sub £500 but the SX isn't cheap to insure, especially since they rebranded it as a Ninja.
I'll give them a call as I think they've done me out of a year of NCB

Re: Long time no chat
Hi mate. Welcome back.
Are you looking at the 675 or the 765?
I had a 675 and I've ridden the 765. I'm 5'11" and both bikes are fine for me. There's plenty of room.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Checked both bikes. Put them both on the optimate as both batteries were a little low. I didn't realise that the dash on the MV flashes with the battery voltage when it's below 12v. The kwak hasn't been under a cover so it's a little ...
