Re: Heated waterproof gloves
Heated and waterproof don't usually work well together as the act of heating the glove stops the waterproof aspect working as it opens the cells of the material. Even goretex linings on heated grips don't work together.

I have free ones from work. Seems good value to me.
Granted I've not actually plugged them in yet, but they are pretty good even without that.

... Plus in Oz you'd have a diet of forced feed bugs wearing an open face! Well, here too, I think. But I usually ride with a buff up over my nose even in a full face helmet anyway, so that and sunglasses would be the plan. Don't worry, though... I won't be getting leather chaps, no matter what. :D

Good solid degrees that benefit society should be free for all with a grant, 30k of dept before you even start work is just fecking ridiculous. It just handicaps the poor and those very important degrees like teaching and nursing that don't lead to high paying jobs. Universities ...

Re: New Toy
I imagine with modern traction control it's a lot less of an issue, but I've managed it three times. First one was my boss's M3, he even warned me when he handed me the keys. Second time was in my 535E on a roundabout and the third was the same car but ended up going backwards into the armco ...

Re: Cat-D right offs
For the track it sounds a great way of picking up a good bike for less. Even for the road it's a good idea. You just have to have all the documentsbof what went on and knowledge of how to repair it, or learn how to repair and work on it as a project.

IMHO not every good soldier is necessarily a good man.
But Worsley wasn't even just a good man, he was truly outstanding, & that is fact, not just opinion.!
