New series Britain's biggest war ship, all about the new HMS QE aircraft carrier, one of three.
And the documentary of Billy Monger, what a inspirational chap....

I'll get the maps out over the weekend and have a look. Orleans was a great night out and I liked Troyes so Morvan could be an excellent shout.

Cherbourg, St Lo, Vires, and Laval for first day? Laval looks really nice according to google images and it's not too far from Cherbourg

Mourning.

The old figurehead of our household, Mrs Cookiemonster's granny and the kids Great Granny has died suddenly aged 99 3/4.

I'll miss the old bugger, she was quite a lady. A few tears and sadness today, all part of life.
