Re: Mr Postman

Halfords are great tools but one thing that is worth the money is a wobble head ratchet, my snap-on one is 18 years old now and still works like day 1 and has had some abuse over the years. A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports

... bike, but I had to get back home. I can go back any time I want to for more time with the ATAS. So the big question - would I have one? The DCT is great but it's not for me. I felt a bit of a spare part on the bike. Rich at Sutton Honda told me that they sell an even split. Like me he appreciates ...

Re: Chinese Levers

Blade I've tried the Chinese copy ones. Quality wise they worked but weren't great to the touch, you get what you pay for and also like everyone mentioned the paint does fade, but they worked and were cheap just to try out. I then went to ASV and to be fair I ...

Re: RIP The Bandit

Remember watching “Mean Machine”, that was great film too, in a lot of ways he was like John Wayne, every character he played was a variation of Burt Reynolds. That didn’t diminish him either though.

Re: Lorenzo having second thoughts?

Wouldn't it be great for there to be an open season where the top riders can try all bikes and join the team with the bike that suits them best... think how fast these lap records could actually be.

I would love to see MM on a Duke!

Re: Rest in peace, Servalan

B7 may have dodgy sets, poor effects and Gt Yarmouth sand dunes as an alien planet (got that right!), but Servalan was fantastic and one of the few great Female villains on TV, damn sexy in a scary kind of way too.

Rest in peace Jaqueline, I’ll not forget you.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

The folks at Tuneboy in Kiwis neck of the woods tried for ages to break the encryption on the later Triumph ECU’s with no success, it’s a great idea for the early models, but I guess there too many radical maps blowing engines up for their liking. In retrospect given VW’s escapades I’d be surprised ...
