Re: Michael Dunlop
I think this year Hickman could be a real threat for at least a podium. It will be a good year anyway, lot of interesting riders on good bikes

... (especially the ftype convertible) is really funny. The only fly in the ointment is Eddie Jordan, he's a knob IMO. If it's more about the cars and bikes and less about the personalities it will already be better. The old three just twat about these days.

... it but was amazed how much more confidence just that gave me and overtook so many riders that day i wondered what was happening. Obviously their bikes didn't give them as much confidence even though i was on Supercorsas until the afternoon sessions.

... Bearing in mind that bike was ridden through many salty winters and lived outside for about 4 years that's impressive. I've looked at a lot of bikes over the last 18 months and Kawasaki appears to be the worst out of the Hondas, Yams and even Suzukis. I've especially noticed a lot of flaky ...

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show
Aren't those shows usually a handful of decent bikes surrounded by boxes and boxes of rusty parts? A bit like a Trumph dealership (devil) Badoom tisch! Yeah, basically. It was good fun, though and I won the tickets on Twitter, so no complaints here. ...

Had a nice blast to the coast on a Breakfast run, not bad day at all, give or take some lost traction, roads still damp and cold even in a straight line lol.
Past Loomies on the way down and back, lots of bikes out today...

Re: Head or Heart?
Ive owned 2 kawasaki bikes and neither were or could ever be described as souless to ride, quite the opposite in fact. Both are very lively, exciting rides and alot of fun. Personally I don't see the 675 as semi exotic and no more desirable ...

It's a common misconception that Jap bikes are l soulless. I've owned triples and do like then.
That said, the howl and induction roar from my zx6r gives me a massive grin. It's intoxicating.

Re: Head or Heart?
Having had 2 675's, an '06 and an '11 plate, I'd go for another '11 plate 675 in black and gold colour scheme. The engine felt smoother than the early bikes. I'm no TT rider but there was a noticeable difference. I'd have another one in a heartbeat (goes to drool on autotrader)

... Some of the posters on 675cc say that the latest version of their bike doesn't have the same soul of previous models and is too close to the Jap bikes. The ZX is growing on me, but it's not really floating my boat. Not ridden the ZX, but I have done a few sessions at Brands Hatch on the 675 and ...

The one that you look at and it makes you smile.
You can't really go wrong with either bike.
Have you ridden both? Some of the posters on 675cc say that the latest version of their bike doesn't have the same soul of previous models and is too close to the Jap bikes.

CBR 600rr refresh
One of our bikes is a Honda 600rr, 2005. My wife's in fact. It's not had a difficult life, to the point of having the original front tyre :) 8500 miles. The tyres are too old now. It's not worth selling, so I'm going to give it ...
