Re: Biplane Ducatis.
I don't see a problem with that. If its something that does actually work then it's just helping on how stable the bikes are at speed and really does show how far teams take it to be the best! Couldn't see that ever getting into road bikes we will never need that sort of stability while on the road!

To be fair if you could buy a roadbike that did 220mph would you really give a monkey's what it looked like?Blade wrote:Agree Cookie. Regardless how effective they are if they appear on road bikes I would look else where.

were flying out 9.30 Sunday morning, normally once me and Frankie have checked into the hotel we go up to the track and help unload the bikes and kit, but apparently Jerez circuit have said the riders aren't allowed in on Sunday so might have to go to the bar instead

Maybe it's the angle of the photo but it looks like one of those shitty low stretched bikes from America. How can they mess up one of the best colour schemes ever This is what you want Rocket 8) http://i696.photobucket.com/albums/vv322/tankslap/Mobile%20Uploads/6e47a1813343e14a330d639412640ed5_zpsfs4b0wuj.jpg

Re: Hello all
I love my screaming 600s but as you say, they're not as popular now and the big litre bikes are much easier to ride with that threat of a high side much reduced.

Re: Hello all
... (it's like a cockroach...) I'd certainly consider a Versys for the commute. That and a road going tiger 800. Having spent a lot of time on litre bikes, I've come round to the fact I prefer supersports. Although looking at the industry I'd say I'm in a minority! I think I only bought the zx10r ...

Hello all
... of the forum.. Heard guys over on 675.cc talk about tankslap, so thought I'd join up. Currently 2014 675R and Honda pcx for the commute. Previous bikes include 2002 Bandit, 2005 ER6, 2005 zx6r, 2006 zx10r and a first gen 848 (for a few weeks...). Zx6r was a constant, had that for 50,000miles until ...

I explained the current MOT test had no emission testing for motorcycles ...

Re: 2016 Honda CBR600rr
The costs involved for even updating the bikes in this class are not covered by sales. None of them are selling in sufficient quantities. The only way to really afford it is to have millions coming in from other area like heavy industry, or scooters etc.

Re: 2016 Honda CBR600rr
I think 600 sports bikes will dwindle and die. There does seem to be a little more interest in litre bikes, but sales of those aren't great either.

Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review
... tyre on the z1000sx forum. I reckon I've got about 1,000 miles left on the rear M5. The front tyres seem to wear quicker than usual on these bikes so it's likely both will be changed at the same time. I'll see what the prices are at the time. I paid £200 ride in/ride out for the M5s which ...
