I must admit I do fancy a Ducati Sportsbike at some point in my motorcycling career and the logical choice is a 1299s. I guess I need to hurry up though as I can already see myself leaning towards an adventure bike in a few year.

... that bike had, seem to have been put right by Ducati and the 1299 works so much better on the road. I'm not in a position to buy a new bike this year and have a few other things to think about currently but when new bike time arrives, its definitely on the list.

I will revisit the decision making process later in the year but it's much more road useable than the 1199 is.
