Re: Main Dealer Servicing

KTM seem to be pretty good, my local dealer (premier bikes) has been about for ages and they are all proper bikers. Helped me out a couple of times by squeezing me in the workshop when really busy. The main one was to fix the oil leak the day before ...

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

... the £20 oil upgrade (Motul 300V). I might try the local-ish KTM dealer for the SDGT, they seem reasonable on price and very passionate about the bikes which is usually a good sign.

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

... bike I want. Staffs Triumph were brilliant, as have been JHP and Cornerspeed for Ducati. I think the Ducati expectations relate back to the older bikes which needed someone with the knowledge and experience to know what to look for and what can go wrong. Problem is now that you need an expensive ...

... make it run any cooler but might stop it going over 105 at traffic lights. http://www.tuneecu.com I was told you cannot use Tune ECU on the 13 MY bikes. I read it somewhere and a dyno centre I spoke to said the same. I believe it can lock the ECU needing Triumph Dealer reset if tried.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Quick look at the manual and the 675 only has 2 litres of coolant and most bikes are 50% more at circa 3 litres. I would suggest the overheating is due to the small capacity and the inability for the radiator to cool it in hot conditions. I guess the design team ...

(Cathedral actually) There’s a pretty diverse spread of bikes ranging from my Brothers Pan to an old Harley of some kind, I’m guessing there’ll be some drama along the way, but it’s all part of an extended ...

The only up and down shifter that i know of is the Blipbox but it only fits a very few bikes and is expensive. http://www.bikesportdevelopments.co.uk/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1832 I have a video i took at Silverstone of the Ducati two seater Motogp bike being run up and ...

Re: Blades Scalpel

... they don't do it in 180/60 unfortunately why do you want a 60 over a 55? Got there before me. 180/55 Racetec scrubs are the dogs danglies on those bikes on track, harder you go better they stick, iirc the 60 needs a tooth or two larger on the rear sprocket, but gives more side contact and quicker ...

Re: MV Agusta 800 EAS - a brief fling

... know they didnt have a Ducati franchise now. Last time i went the owner took us round the back into their storage, they had some seriously nice bikes in the back. It's not the biggest dealer though, so i imagine Ducati have standards for size of showroom etc.
