Re: Bargain 1199s
... in a year Duke ? I think you would have to weigh it up over three years. the first year is always the worst for depreciation. The first 1199 bikes are now 3 years old but at the moment you cannot get one ( worth buying) for less than £11k so they haven't lost much money. I think they were ...

Re: I am a little worried
I think everyone else s bike sounds fast when you are not riding yourself.
I do agree though that already this year I have seen a few bikes doing stupid speeds in the wrong places but then i don't think its anything particularly new either. Probably just a bad day for it near you yesterday, Frankie.

Re: I am a little worried
Round here it's an occasional thing when you hear a bike pinging it out of the village. But I love the sound, it just makes me a little jealous that it's not me.
Listening to the newer bikes with quick shifters is great.

... points a stupid mistake. I remember seeing the lights and thinking be perpared to stop so I checked my mirrors because there was a fair few other bikes behind me and didn't want them hitting my rear end and when I looked back it was bloody amber and red had no other choice. Bugger

The last few weekends, even more so today doing my garden I have been seeing and hearing a lot more bikes gunning it, especially down the by pass, I am a fair way from it but I can really here them screaming. I don't know if it's down to me commuting on a bike now, but the ...

Motorcycle Off Road Experience Day - Wiltshire
...
It was a huge amount of fun and a good taster for off road biking and all for only £30, and everything included on some decent off road bikes.

The only downside i can see this year is that its run mid week but I would heartily recommend it if you can get the time off work.
...

... but it may struggle out of the twisties. The lightweight nature and loading up the front into corners was great, difficulty is the more powerful bikes tend to lose that fearless cornering feel. Smc is a great bike, maybe too motard? Not sure. Z800 should be tested I think. If it felt light enough ...

Sportsbikes have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. The electronics are simply astonishing, harnessing the sort of power that WSBK riders would've be experiencing not long ago and making it accessible to everyday ...

Re: Ducati Panigale 1299
Have you read the article Duke ? I know you said previously the R1 was not a clearer winner but from what I read it seems there wasn't a clear winner at all and all 3 bikes tested impressed the testers for different reasons. Seems there is not a bad bike in the sportsbike class of 2015
