The weekend results didn't look good.

The TC kicks in a fair bit on level 3 and you're giving it some berries on winter roads.

Despite it being dark and some roads being damp I had a pretty enjoyable ride home this evening.

I wonder how people manage to do it every day. It must be soul destroying.

Normally I use the SDOC100 products. Gel cleaner, dry lube then when dry a little white wax on top. I didn't have time yesterday so I skipped the dry lube. Yesterday I tried the WD40 chain cleaner. It's ok but not as effective as the SDOC stuff and I had to use more of it, so it's not as cost effect...

Only a quick wash yesterday in poor light and rain but the bike looks like it's come up a treat.

I think winter will finish off the chain and sprocket. I'm on about 11,500 miles so I reckon it'll be about the 13,000 mark when I change them, which isn't too bad for an OEM chain.
