Re: Ouch ouch fecking ouch

Bloody hell. I broke my right big toe a couple of years back - I slipped on the bottom step of the stairs and kicked a guitar flight case, hard - and managed to get my bike boot on and get to work. But I was ordered to hospital shortly afterwards by work. They taped it up but that was all they could...

There's some pretty coherent arguments for the EU, right there.

Now we're talking my language.

Unfortunately, they cost more than £60 a go, I believe. :(

He might be intelligent, but he's still a complete **** buffoon and he sounds like he's inbred. I suspect he appeals to those who are still congenitally conditioned to touch a forelock when they meet one of their "betters". "If ever there was a man of the people it's Alexander Boris d...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I very rarely do heavy weights, tbh.

But (for example) with my bench presses tonight, there'll be two lots of 40 rep stepped sets, so 80 in total.

Re: In, out or shake it all about?

This, for me, from the author Richard Morgan neatly sums up the Brexit campaign... Something very passive/aggressive about the Brexit crowd - no sense of a coherent political vision, just this colossal geopolitical sulk... Actually, that pretty much hits the UKIP nail right squarely on the head. The...

Bojo the Clown wants out.

Should tell you everything you need to know.

I'd rather die than be in the same room as he and that **** Farage.

Actually, I'd rather they died.

Re: Who wants a visor wiper?

I dunno, I'm comfortably PAYE. But business kickstarters remain a bad idea and they look dodgy to a lot of people, not just me.

And on that basis, they should probably put a bit more effort into not looking like **** on their fundraising page. :)

Re: Who wants a visor wiper?

They want £100,000 from their fundraiser. If your idea's so great, why not go to the bank for a business loan? We've had 600k views in a week! http://i.imgur.com/wzL7IHu.png 79 contributors. And naturally, when you don't get to £100k, you'll pay everyone back, right? (lol) (lol) **** chancers.

Re: Who wants a visor wiper?

Fair enough. However, their website is **** horridly unprofessional, the videos are shit and not actually real, they're running a kickstarter, which means they have no funds of their own for their amazing idea and are likely not a proper business... and... also, it's made in China, by a top manufact...

I've just put them off until last, tbh. Delayed 3 days because they want tickets raising. Mwuauah.

Should be mostly done with the rest tonight. They can wait until Sunday night.

Wicked slice of overtime for this, though. 8)

Re: Who wants a visor wiper?

Honestly, rain on my visor has never, ever bothered me. I've managed for more than 20 years without a windscreen wiper (other than my glove) for my visors and I don't see why I need one now. And I've ridden in some truly hideous conditions... It screams gimmick, to me. If it turns out to be well mad...

Frankly, I'm getting really **** tired of all this gimmicky shit that's being put into lids these days. Wipers, rear view mirrors, **** heads up displays. All just stuff that distracts the rider's attention from what's really important. If you need toys in your lid, you should probably try spending ...
