Re: Crash protection
... on the frame sliders? Would have got gbracing but seeing as the Triumph ones are already on it... I have a horrible feeling that the Triumph ones were "field tested" not long after the Mk2 was released, and "failed to impress" (doh) I'll see if I can find the relevant thread ...

The Peaks is the same mate, this winter of shed loads of rain and freezing nights has ruined them. I hope not Monty. Seriously these roads were undriveable in a car at 10 mph and absolutely shocking condition. I m not taking a little stretch but mile after mile of proper pot holed road. It ...

Chilly ride down to Surrey
A little spin down to Newland's this morning, still very cold but roads were dry, very enjoyable.
Tested out the bullet cam to make sure it is still working, so here is where I have been

I slammed on my breaks with engine breaking (2ND gear) and they turned in front of me. I'm so glad I was in the right part of the road ...

... literally just ridden it home from Nottingham via a fry up in Matlock and given it a clean. Also didn't help that the brake and clutch perches were set almost horizontal so I had to take my hands off the bars to brake! Suspect Duke might have a point with the shitty touring tyres as the profile ...

Common sense would dictate that the US would prefer oil prices were higher so they got more revenue from their oil but that doesn't seem to be the case if they are flooding and already over producing market.
