... ride up, ride around, ride home track day. Weather reports said dry... Yippee..... Silverstone said not chance mate its going to be wet. In true road riding tradition I put on my wet over jacket, this way the law is that it stops raining.... LOL..... and it did... Phew.... still a couple of damp ...

Re: Cost of Energy Crisis
... they earn money in other markets to subsidise our bills, they are called Electricity De France or EDF for short. It helps having no TV licence, no road tax and n MOTs for bike too. Sorry about that guys but judging by the amount of Brit plated bikes here you all love it too.

Found a kitchen knife chucked onto the side of the road on my ride home. Took pictures and put it in my backpack (with gloves on) and now on hold to 101 to report it. Very odd thing to throw out of the window and there has been a number of getaways ...

Aaaaargh! - Me back's knackin'!!!
I went out cycling yesterday....about 35 miles of reasonably steady road riding..... but the last 8-10 miles was not fun at all, and I'm paying for it this morning.
I think I'm going to end up spending the day in bed. Not very happy ATM.

.... And there's way more vehicles on the road, that's not going to hurt profits either - I imagine they totally offset any general improvements in fuel economy..??
I hadn't thought of the oil industry in cyclic terms, but it makes sense.

Motorcycle Follies
... shit. The Follies got me in to track days. They were very relaxed. No egos on show. A wide range of bikes being used. Most people used their road bike, their pride and joy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was common for people to have a meal together the night before. On track everyone ...

Out on the road bike yesterday evening with a group from running club. 28 miles overall, not bad for the first road ride for over a year. I even enjoyed it, that is until a spasm in my right knee stopped it bending and brought ...

... out for the fuzz, they're crafty down there. I've seen cop bikes on bridges with radars on the A477 the other side of Camarthen, it's an easy road to lose concentration and speed on.

First time out on a bike this year…
Took the Thruxton out for its MOT and came home a slightly long way. Hadn’t been down that road since the floods. Pot holes big enough to swallow a whole wheel all over the place. Some I missed by mere millimetres.. roads here are so f**ked atm.

Safe to say it can be a bit of a handful if you are a little over enthusiastic with the throttle, however in road mode it's as easy to ride as a bike half it's size. This bike has been designed by bikers, not a marketing department. I'm sure I'm going to keep ...
