Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Just bought a take away coffee in the Hospital shop which is next to the waiting room we are using. Went to go back into waiting room which is literally the very next door and told I can't bring hot drinks in (gah) Why sell hot drinks to take away then ...

Re: Pokemon Go

... you've got? Had a Lapras appear on my sightings screen this morning, first one I've had show up in the wild. I'm in London for a couple of days next week so I'll do some walking in the evenings and see if anything pops up.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

After a quiet(ish) week exercise wise things kicked into action proper today.

Local 10k race round the village, it's a will supported event. Managed to put in a 54:21, and a new personal best.

Now prep time for Basingstoke half marathon next weekend.

Manning the fort and looking after the eldest as Missus has had to take Man Uniteds next star striker upto A&E for stitches.

Bit of an incident on the training ground and quite a deep open cut to the knee (blush)

Have to make a fuss of the little man when he gets back.

Nope, not just you. We usually have stews and braised meats in the colder months and we make it, leave it to cool and stick it in the fridge for the next day and it tastes better reheated. Chilli too [emoji106]

... it was misting up very easily on the morning sessions and that was with all the vents fully open. I find the top vents effective but the chin vent next to use less which may explain the misting up easily.
