... have bought and used these and they lasted all of a motorway journey about 25 miles and didn't get that warm anyway and the battery died. I bought other batteries and same thing happened!! They are more for garden or walking the dog not for up to 70MPH worth of air blasting at you!

does your bike not have heated grips ?? i was having a discussion about gloves or grips the other day. The person I was speaking said that heated gloves were a lot better as they keep all of you hand warm rather than just the palms from grips. Having very limited experience ...

That's a real shame if they do stop the 675 but I suppose Triumph are a luxury brand and have high sales in other types of bikes so they prob won't be loosing much if they stop their 675 range, bar maybe the younger market

Our other car is a BMW Monty so I'm already familiar with reversing the car out of a roundabout technique and the kids love it. In fact they egg me on to do it (giggle)

... to lift it wouldn't be worth that amount of cash. I got mine for less than 40quid because of a deal the sales lady was willing to go for (with other things thrown in) at NEC and it is prefect!

What are they like price wise against the other tyres you looked at? I presume they're a lot more than the Z8s and M5s seeing as they're the older Metzeler tyres.
